Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Dense, compact deciduous shrub with red foliage which changes to yellow as it matures. Clusters of deep pink flowers in Summer.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height of 0.2 – 0.5m and spread of 0.5 – 1m.
Period of Interest: Spring and Summer interest. Colourful foliage from red to yellow and flat clusters of tiny deep pink flowers which bloom in Summer.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Tolerant of most soil types. Resistant to most weather conditions.
A compact, low-growing deciduous shrub which is perfect as informal hedging or for small garden beds, the spiraea ‘Magic Carpet’ is a hardy and easy to maintain plant with striking foliage colour which starts our bright red in the Spring and turns to a bright yellow over time, providing a nice balance of each hue as fresh leaves grow. In the Summer, flat clusters of tiny pink flowers appear throughout the foliage and provide even more vibrant summer colour to this little shrub.
Plant in any moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sunlight. Tolerant of most soil types and weather conditions.
