'Shepody' are oval-shaped tubers, with cream flesh and smooth, thin skin. Their versatility means they are great for boiling, baking, mashing and, in particular, making tasty french fries.
Harvesting Period: 'Shepody' will harvest in the months of July - August.
Planting Advice: Main crop potatoes should be planted in late March. If potatoes have been previously grown for two years in succession, avoid planting in the same plot. Instead, an area that is sheltered with full sun and moist, well-drained soil is recommended. However, if space is limited, they can also be grown in potato bags on a patio.
Care & Maintenance: Keep seed potatoes away from frost pockets and ensure sunlight is present as much as possible. You should water them regularly, aiming to keep the soil moist and well-drained throughout their growth.
