This deciduous perennial creates a stunning mound forming display of purple foliage. It contrasts beautifully with the red flowers that appear in Summer, lasting until the end of Autumn. The flowers are guaranteed to attract bees, butterflies and other insects into your garden. For the best results, plant in patio pots or borders.

The perennial enjoys full sun or partial shade and moist, well drained soil. It is fully hardy and does not need protection.
