• Care and Maintenance: Salvia BumbleSnow is easy to grow and thrives when planted in fertile well drained soil. It will tolerate drought but benefits from occasional watering.  A full sun or partial shade spot is preferred and deadheading will prolong the flowering season.
• Period of Interest: Late spring, early summer. Green foliage produces spires of striking pure white flowers from late spring.

Commonly known as Garden Sage, Salvia BumbleSnow provides interest from late spring to early summer. Tall stems reach from a mound of green foliage to produce spires of pure white flowers that are incredibly popular with bees and other pollinators.

This clump forming perennial grows well in most sunny spots and requires little maintenance to remain healthy and attractive. Deadheading spent flowers will help promote new blooms and prolong the flowering period.

Salvia BumbleSnow is relatively hardy and can withstand cold temperatures but may need a helping hand if the soil is likely to get very wet over the winter months. This is a versatile perennial that works well in flower beds, borders and containers. It is also popular for flower cuttings to arrange or dry.

Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
