• Care and Maintenance: Rudbeckia Sunbeckia Victoria grows best when planted in moist, well drained soil. Avoid letting the soil dry out during the summer months, at least until the plant is established. It enjoys a spot in full sun or partial shade. Cut back spent flowers to encourage a second bloom and prevent unwanted seedlings. Rudbeckia is a relatively short lived perennial but allowing seeds to fall will prompt regrowth every season. Protect from the worst of the winter frost.

Commonly known as Black-eyed Susan, Rudbeckia Sunbeckia Victoria boasts delightfully large bright yellow flowers that bloom from early summer through autumn. This is a fast growing plant, which will reach maturity in 1-2 years. It requires very little maintenance and, although the original plant may be relatively short lived, it self seeds and is very easy to propagate so you can enjoy long lasting blooms year after year.

Bright hues, large blooms and an abundance of flowers combine to make Rudbeckia Sunbeckia Victoria a popular choice for flower arranging. Blooms can be cut and brought inside to enjoy without leaving noticeable gaps in the plant outdoors.

Also known as Black-eyed Susan, the plant is easy to grow and is hardy to temperatures as cold as -8°C but may be vulnerable to slugs. Elegant strong stems ensure blooms cope with the weather and the plant does well in both sheltered and exposed spots. This is a great option for borders, flower beds or containers and will attract birds, butterflies and pollinators to your garden.
