Supplied as a Rhubarb crown, measuring 10-15cm in height and width.
Characteristics: An easy to grow, mid-season variety of Rhubarb. It will begin to crop in May - June, with this seedless specimen preferring to be harvested later than others. This popular British classic produces firm, rosy red stalks that are full of sweet and delicious flavour.
Height & Spread: Ultimate height of 0.5m and spread of 0.8m.
Water and Maintenance: Plant in an open, sunny spot of the garden at intervals of 75cm. Fertile, moist and well-drained soil is preferred. Keep them well watered in Spring and Summer.
Rhubarb Sutton's Seedless is a very easy to grow, seedless variety. It will be supplied as a bare root crown at a length of 5-10cm. This mid-season cropper will be ready to harvest between May and June, although it will also prefer being harvested later than other varieties. It is also a popular, British classic due to its firm, rosy red stalks that can provide delicious flavour to jams, pies and more.
Planting soon after arrival is recommended. This will revitalise the crowns, promoting new growth ahead of their upcoming growing season. You can place them in pots, planters, containers or in bedding and more. Situate them in an open, sunny spot of the garden at intervals of 75cm.
