  • Characteristics: A hardy, evergreen shrub. Develops trusses of pale yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers and dark green, ovate leaves.
  • Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 1.5m.
  • Period of Interest: Year round foliage interest. Clusters of yellow flowers appear from late spring to early summer.
  • Water & Maintenance: Plant shallowly in a position with dappled to partial shade. Grow in a moist, well drained, humus-rich soil. Prefers acidic/ericaceous soils.

Rhododendron Goldkrone is a stunning evergreen shrub that is fully hardy and easy to grow. This plant displays neat, evergreen foliage with ovate dark green leaves and produces trusses of beautiful, pale-yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers, lightly speckled with bronze markings. This plant is in bloom from late Spring - early Summer.

Plant this shrub in a shallow plot, in a position with dappled to partial shade. Grow in a moist, well drained, humus-rich soil. This plant thrives best acidic/ericaceous soils and will not tolerate alkaline/limey soils. This low-maintenance shrub is the perfect addition to any type of garden, bed or border.
