Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Compact, mound-forming evergreen shrub with bronze-tinged foliage maturing to dark green, and white flowers in Spring.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.5 – 1m.
Period of Interest: Year-round foliage, with loose clusters of trumpet-shaped white flowers speckled with pink and green from mid-Spring.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Keep in partial shade in a sheltered position. Acidic soil is recommended.
A dwarf evergreen Rhododendron with some interesting flowers. The ‘Dora Amateis’ is a great compact shrub, perfect for use in shrub beds, rockeries or as flowering low hedges. The dense foliage has hues of bronze when young, becoming dark green when mature with flowers blooming as clusters of slightly scented, trumpet-shaped white flowers with specks of pink and green throughout the petals.
Plant in moist, humus-rich, well-drained acidic soil and keep partially shaded. Tolerates full sun but may affect flower longevity and foliage colour. Keep in sheltered position and provide frost protection.
