Product description
Thyme 'Snowdrift' is a charming creeping variety cultivated primarily for the stunning carpet of pure white flowers it produces, which bloom so densely they resemble a fresh fall of snow. While less pungent than culinary shrub thymes, its tiny bright green leaves still possess a mild, savoury aroma that is released pleasantly when the plant is walked upon. It is traditionally used as a fragrant lawn substitute or a gap-filler between paving stones, where it suppresses weeds and softens hard landscaping edges.
This plant is typically grown as a hardy, mat-forming evergreen that hugs the ground closely, rarely exceeding a few centimetres in height. It is extremely tough and cold-tolerant, capable of withstanding foot traffic and harsh weather. For the best results and the most impressive floral display, plant it in a location with full sun. It is highly drought-tolerant once established and thrives in poor, gritty, and fast-draining soil, as it will rot if left in damp conditions or rich compost.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.
