Product description
Curly Leaf Parsley is a staple culinary herb cultivated primarily for the crisp texture and fresh, grassy flavour found in its tightly frilled, bright green leaves. This mild taste, which is generally subtler than that of flat-leaf varieties, is best preserved by adding the herb at the very end of cooking. It is traditionally used as the quintessential garnish for soups, fish dishes, and savoury sauces, adding a satisfying crunch and a vibrant pop of colour without overpowering the main ingredients.
This plant is typically grown as a hardy biennial that forms a neat, dense rosette of foliage. It is generally cold-tolerant, capable of withstanding light frosts and often standing through the winter in sheltered spots. For the best results and the most lush growth, plant it in a location with partial shade or full sun, provided it is not scorched. It is not drought-tolerant and thrives in deep, fertile soil that is kept consistently moist through regular watering.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Curly Parsley holds its architectural shape much better than flat-leaf varieties, which can go limp quickly. This makes it the superior choice for decorative garnishing or adding bulk to salads like tabbouleh.
How to Water
Keep the soil evenly moist. Curly Parsley will quickly bolt (go to seed) and become bitter if the soil is allowed to dry out completely or if the plant gets too hot and thirsty.
How to Plant
Plant Curly Parsley in deep, rich soil. It has a long taproot, so if growing in containers, choose a tall pot to accommodate it. Be patient with seeds, as they are notoriously slow to germinate and can take several weeks to appear.
