Product description
Orange Mint is a highly aromatic herb cultivated primarily for the strong citrus-cologne scent found in its broad, dark green leaves. This refreshing perfume, which blends mint with distinct notes of bergamot and orange, is released powerfully when the leaves are crushed. It is traditionally used to flavour refreshing summer drinks, fruit salads, and dressings, where its fruity profile works better than common spearmint.
This plant is typically grown as a vigorous, hardy perennial that spreads aggressively via underground runners. It is robust and frost-tolerant, dying back in winter to return reliably every spring. For the best results and strongest oil content, plant it in a location with partial shade or full sun. It is not drought-tolerant and thrives in rich, heavy soil that is kept consistently moist through regular watering.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Orange Mint is sometimes called "Eau de Cologne Mint" because of its intense fragrance. The flavour is very strong—almost perfumed—so use it sparingly in salads, or use the leaves to make a refreshing bath tea.
How to Water
Orange Mint loves water and tolerates wet soil better than almost any other herb. Keep the compost soaked or plant it near a water feature; if it dries out, it will wither quickly.
How to Plant
ALWAYS plant Orange Mint in a container. It is one of the most invasive mint varieties and will rapidly overrun garden beds and choke out other plants if not strictly contained.
