Product description
Lavandula 'Rosea' is a beautiful variation of the classic English lavender, cultivated primarily for its soft, pale pink blossoms. This gentle colour serves as a perfect counterpoint to darker purple varieties, while still possessing the sweet, floral perfume characteristic of the species. It is traditionally used to create fragrant dried sachets and cut flower arrangements, where its pastel tones add a romantic, cottage-garden feel distinct from standard lavenders.
This plant is typically grown as a hardy, bushy evergreen that maintains a compact, silver-grey form throughout the year. It is tough and withstands winter cold well, provided it is not sitting in waterlogged ground. For the best results and the strongest scent, plant it in a location with full sun; it requires direct light to thrive and will become leggy in shade. It is extremely drought-tolerant once established and prefers poor, stony soil over rich, fertile earth.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Lavandula 'Rosea' is an "English Lavender" type (angustifolia), meaning it is hardier than the French or Spanish types. To keep it living a long time, prune it every year immediately after flowering, cutting back the green growth but avoiding cutting into the old, woody stems.
How to Water
Once the Lavandula 'Rosea' is established, it requires very little water. In fact, too much moisture is the primary cause of failure. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, and ensure the foliage is not constantly wet to prevent disease.
How to Plant
Plant Lavandula 'Rosea' in a spot with excellent drainage. If you are gardening on clay soil, mix in plenty of horticultural grit or plant it on a raised mound to ensure water drains away rapidly from the roots.
