Product description
Delphinium Galahad brings a touch of classic elegance to the summer garden, producing tall, pristine flower spikes that rise above lush green foliage. Its bright pure-white blooms create a striking vertical accent in borders and beds, adding height, structure, and a soft, luminous presence that stands out beautifully against darker planting. Whether used as a focal point or woven into a cottage garden scheme, it brings a sense of grace and drama to any sunny space.
Strong, upright growth is the key to getting the best from this Larkspur variety, so it helps to give it the right start. Plant it in rich, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered position, then add support as the stems begin to stretch upwards. Steady watering and an occasional feed keep the plant vigorous, and removing faded blooms can encourage a welcome second flush later in the season. With this gentle attention, it returns each year with renewed height, elegance, and those beautiful snow-white spires.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Garden Plant Size Guide

Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Give Larkspur a sheltered position where tall stems won’t be battered by strong winds, as this helps keep the flower spikes straight and impressive. Check supports early in the season so they’re in place before the stems get too tall, which makes training them much easier.
How to Water
Water Larkspur regularly during the first few weeks after planting, keeping the soil evenly moist while the roots establish. Once settled, give it a thorough drink during dry spells to support strong, upright growth and keep those tall white spires looking their best.
How to Plant
Gently remove the Delphinium plant from its pot and set it into rich, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot, keeping it at the same depth as before. Space plants around 45-60cm apart to allow the tall stems room to grow, then firm the soil and water well to help it settle in.
