Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: A very fast rate of growth that can be used to cover structures like pergolas.
Growth & Spread: Very-fast grower. Known to reach lengths of over 10 to 15 m and with similar spreads of 10 to 12 m
Flourishing Season: Pale pink to White flowers in summer.
Water & Maintenance: Early care and watering with supports and pinching the central buds, but once established, it will take off. Cutting and clipping to prevent invasion.
It is a hardy, deciduous vine that is often used to provide shaded covering or obscure structures. It is a twining climber and will rapidly vault larger-sized structures. It is extremely hardy, tolerates almost any soil type, and prefers sun to partial shade.
Small, white flowers form in multitudes of bunches on panicles throughout the growing area. The vine will be covered in these small, funnel-shaped blossoms in the summer time. They have heart-shaped leaves which are initially red when first formed and turn into a dark green.
The “Baldschuanicum” grows through the use of rhizomes, underground root systems. This will need to be effectively monitored or the plant can quickly become overwhelming. Fortunately, the growth will slow and stop in the colder, winter months. As such, this is the time to prune and trim accordingly to get the plant into its desired shape and location.
The hardy species originates from Russia and China. It is generally disease and pest free. It works well for areas which need quick and uninhibited growth.

Excellent healthy little plants
Plants arrived very well packed and with loads of new young buds, just 1 week after I reported them they had an abundance of little green healthy leaves. Can’t wait until the weather gets warmer to see them climbing up my trellis.
