• Plant advice: Your Picea will thrive in a space that benefits from full sun, with shelter to protect it from cold and drying winds. Best grown in moist but well-drained, acidic soil.
• The tree is capable of achieving an ultimate height of 4 meters, however its growth rate is a modest 4 to 6 inches per annum. Once established, it will require no pruning and zero maintenance.

The Picea ‘Sanders Blue’ variant is a stunning, visually distinct fully hardy evergreen shrub with a conical upright habit. Highly decorative with its steely blue bristled needles that turn into a gorgeous muted grey-green with age, it’ll create excellent visual relief from the plain green garden foliage.

Suitable for a large container and excellent as a focal point for any garden or patio, no matter the size – you can keep the slow growing dwarf spruce to any desired proportions with ease.
