Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.

Phormium Maori Sunrise is an excellent clump forming evergreen perennials that features outstanding shades of foliage, one that will decorate any formal garden. This is a very vibrant variety of Phormium with long blade of bronze-red leaves growing in an arching manner from the base of the plant. It is a perfect architectural plant that is suitable for growing as low hedges or shrub borders.
These shrubs originate from New Zealand, thus sometimes also called as New Zealand Flax and were used by the Maori people for fibre. This flax variety grows beautiful long and broad, apricot red leaves margined with hints of bronze. The leaves are textured glossy that adds to their ornamental appearance. In summer Maori Sunrise will bloom tall panicles of small tubular flowers that attract hummingbirds.
Use Maori Sunrise as decorative border shrubs for their beautiful shades resembling sunrise colours. These are easy to grow bushy plants that demand low watering and maintenance. Phormium thrive well in full sun to partial sunlight when planted in a well-drained soil. Add a layer of mulch to their base to retain moisture but avoid excess of it otherwise the roots will rot.
Once established, they will develop tolerance to dry conditions. These are cold hardy plants but need protection from hard winter frost. Phormium plants do not require any pruning other than cutting damaged or dead leaves annually.
Phormium Maori Sunrise can grow indoors in large containers. These are perfect houseplants that will grow in low lit areas of the house. Use them to decorate your patio or dull corners in your garden.
