Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.

Phormium Maori Maiden is a beautiful variety that delivers its ornament value with glossy blade-like reddish-pink leaves. It is an excellent evergreen perennial shrub that forms an upright clump with long broad leaves emerging from the base. Phormium plants is native to New Zealand, sometimes also known as New Zealand Flax. Use it as decorative border shrub or low hedge in tropical or coastal gardens.
Maori Maiden has one of the most striking Phormium foliage that will have a real impact in your garden. It has long sword-like apricot red or pink leaves with thin green margins. These arching leaves have a glossy texture that produces attractive gleaming effects. In summer, this plant will occasionally produce small red flowers that attract hummingbirds.
Phormium Maori Maiden is excellent for container gardening. Use a high-quality potting soil mixed with organic compost. Make sure the soil is regularly drained otherwise the roots will rot.
