• Characteristics: Herbaceous perennial, clusters of flowers in a vibrant pink, narrow emerald green leaves, blooms throughout July and August, hardy, low maintenance

• Care and Maintenance: Phlox Ka-Pow® Pink thrives best in full sun or partial shade. It prefers moist soil but it must be well drained and not waterlogged. Plant around 16 inches apart and cut back in autumn before the first frost.
• Period of Interest: Summer. Large clusters of bright pink flowers bloom from July to August.

With its abundance of vibrant bright pink flowers, Phlox Ka-Pow® Pink is a striking perennial blooming in July and August. The large clusters of star shaped flowers are fragrant and attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators, while the narrow green leaves produce a robust look that is great for ground cover.

Phlox Ka-Pow® Pink flourishes in most soil types and is equally suited to flower beds, borders and containers. It is a medium paced grower and will reach a height of up to 0.5m and spread of 0.4m in 2-5 years. The plant will retreat back below ground for the winter and re-emerge with fresh blossom in spring.

Commonly known as Garden Phlox, Phlox Ka-Pow® Pink grows in a uniform upright pattern and works best when planted in a sunny spot with good air circulation. This is a low maintenance plant that is frost resistant and relatively hardy.

Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
