Penstemon PepTalk Red is a herbaceous perennial plant which brings glossy, dark green leaves to the garden, with its flowers sitting above it due to the plants upright nature. The gorgeous spikes of flowers form out from a white shade in the centre, with the vibrant red shade sitting around the edges of each bloom. The throat-like look of this perennial gives the space it is placed in a very unique final appearance. Penstemon should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. Watering the plant should be done regularly, with warmer weather conditions seeing that level increase to cope with the temperature rise.
