Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Upright tree with dark purple leaves and glossy cherry-like dark red fruit that turns black when ripe.
Flowering: Crimson-purple flowers in April to May.
Height and Spread in 20 years: 4m-8m / 8m. Upright habit.
Hardiness and Best Position: Fully hardy. Full sun or partial shade.

In winter the bare branches offer ideal roosting perches for birds and they form perfect resting places for night creatures like tawny owls.
