Lonicera ‘Graham Thomas’ is an evergreen shrub named after prominent British horticulturist Graham Stuart Thomas. It is a large twining deciduous plant suitable for low walls, arches and trained along pergolas. This honeysuckle bears heavily scented creamy white flowers, fading to yellow as they mature.
Use Graham Thomas climber plant to cover walls in your cottage garden. Its flowers provide nectar and yield strong fragrance that attract bees, butterflies and ladybirds.
Welcome these new guests to your garden for they will find it a place of interest once your Graham Thomas blooms flowers. Do not forget the hungry birds that will find their way to your beautiful garden looking for the honeysuckle’s brilliant red berries in autumn.
It grows excellently in most soils but only the ones that are well-drained. Provide a good feed of mulch with compost during early spring months and watch your climber quickly grow as tall as 6 metres.
