• Characteristics: Dense, clump-forming evergreen perennial grass with long, flat arching grey-green leaves with cream-white margins and clusters of tiny cream flowers in Summer.
• Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.5 – 1m.
• Period of Interest: Year-round interest. Panicles of tiny, fragrant cream to yellow flowers appearing from late Spring and Summer.
• Water & Maintenance: Plant in fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full or partial sun. Drought tolerant once established. May require frost protection in colder regions.

A dense, clumping perennial grass sometimes known as Spiny-head Mat-rush or Basket Grass. The Lomandra ‘Arctic Frost’ is a lovely, lightly coloured plant which is perfect for Spring and Summer displays with its long, flat, arching grey-green foliage growing heavily and making for great groundcover. Occasional blooms of tiny, fragrant cream-yellow flowers appear in clusters above the foliage in late Spring and Summer.

Plant in moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Drought tolerant once established but may require some Winter protection from frosts and cold drying winds. This plant may die back in the Winter, but you will see fresh growth the following Spring.
