Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Deciduous perennial with grey green leaves and an abundance of yellow/white coloured flowers.
Height & Spread: Grows to around 0.5m tall, spreads to roughly 0.1m wide
Period of Interest: Spring, Summer and Autumn interest. Compact green-grey felted foliage beneath dense growths of large, star-shaped white bracts with small yellow-white flowers in the centre.
Plant Advice: Plant in moist, well-drained soil in a sheltered position under full or partial sun. May require some protection from Winter wet and frost.
Leontopodium 'Blossom of Snow' is a deciduous perennial shrub with grey-green foliage and large flower heads. In late spring, this variety begins to develop a fuzzy silver-like "wool" effect coupled with flower-like silver bracts in the shape of a star, these flowers bloom in abundance from summer to fall. A very tough and hardy perennial, this plant prefers a fully sunny position in the garden and it can be planted in any soil, as long as it is well drained.
Known better as "Edelweiss", this perennial will die back in winter before returning to bloom year after year. Owing to it's native rocky alpine habitat, this plant prefers growing in cooler climates.
