Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Compact, upright evergreen perennial with arching leaves and stems bearing spike-like orange and yellow flowers.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.1 – 0.5m.
Flourishing Season: Drooping, tubular deep orange and yellow flowers appearing from early Summer through to Autumn.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full sun. May require some frost protection.
Kniphofia ‘Papaya popsicle’ or Torch Lily is a vibrant and exotic breed that stands out due to its incredible Summer colours. Dark green foliage grows around the base of tall stems which carry dense clusters of long, drooping, tubular flowers that appear as lovely two-tone hues, with a deep orange-red at the tip changing gradually to yellow near the base. This mounded perennial can be used to create great border displays or planted in larger numbers to create drifts of vibrant colour.
Plant in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soils and keep in full sun. A low maintenance plant requiring little care once established. May need some protection from harsh Winter frosts.
