Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Bushy, vigorous deciduous shrub with ovate, mid-green leaves and conical masses of cream-white flowers in Summer.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 1.5 – 2.5m.
Period of Interest: Summer and Autumn interest. Masses of small, cream-white flowers in conical flower spikes from mid-Summer, gaining hues of pink in Autumn.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full or partial sun. Hardy and tolerant of moist soils and positions.
A taller variety of Hydrangea, the ‘Pink Diamond’ is a large deciduous, spreading shrub with bushy growing habit. It is a fast grower, quickly establishing itself in the garden and perfect for use in border, on walls as a cascading display or as informal hedging. The foliage is an ovate, mid-green and is followed by conical flower clusters of cream-white from mid-Summer which gain hues and touches of pink nearer to Autumn.
A resilient and generally hardy, low maintenance plant. Plant in any moist, fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Vigorous growth means that some pruning may be required regularly if you wish to maintain its shape.
