Hydrangea shrubs have a bushy and compact habit making them ideal for flower beds, patio collections or just to fill any plank space in the garden. They add a burst of colour with their bright circular flowers. The plants stand upright, against the canvas of silken green foliage, they attract birds, bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
Take care while pruning Hydrangea during Spring/Summer, remove dead wood only once the new growth has emerged. Deadheading the faded flowers regularly will encourage repeat blooms. Plant them in a sheltered spot protecting from cold winds that can damage the flower buds.
