• Plant advice: Your Atlantic Ivy will thrive in a position that benefits from partial shade – avoid placing in direct sunlight to prevent drying out in the colder months. It will be tolerant of a wide range of soil pH, with 6.5 being most optimal. Use a moist but well-drained soil composed of Chalk, Clay, Loam or Sand. Make sure that the soil is dry to touch between waterings.

Hedera helix Hibernica is a vigorous evergreen climber with lobed variegated green leaves and small green flowers in autumn, to be followed by black winter berries, that birds and other wildlife will enjoy as a food source, in the colder months. This fast growing ivy is ideal for covering walls and fences and will keep its foliage year-round, making it a fantastic choice for any garden.

This versatile plant can be used as ground cover if trained to spread; it can help conceal any unsightly surfaces and lend a more natural and organic appeal to your garden.
