Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Compact clumping, evergreen perennial with dark green foliage and red flowers.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.1 – 0.5m.
Flourishing Season: Semi-double pink-red flowers appearing all through Summer into Autumn.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full sun. Avoid waterlogging in Winter months.
Geum ‘Flames of Passion’ is a hardy variety of this compact, clump-forming perennial bringing rich colour to the garden all through the Summer. Bright green leaves sit beneath tall, dark purple stems which carry semi-double pink-red flowers with overlapping petals, giving them a frilly appearance. These flowers will bloom all through the Summer months and into the early Autumn.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full sun. A very hardy and low maintenance plant. Be wary of overly damp or waterlogged soil in the Winter as this can damage the plant.
