Characteristics: Geum Fiery Tempest are mound-forming, deciduous to semi-evergreen garden plants with dark green foliage and saucer shaped flowers in shades of vibrant red.
Growth and Spread: These perennial plants can grow to an ultimate height and spread of approximately 0.5m.
Care and Maintenance: Plant these outdoor plants in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade, avoiding waterlogged soil over the winter months.
Period of Interest: In colder areas, foliage will die back over the winter months, but in warmer areas it can remain all year, whilst flowers bloom from late spring into summer.
Geum Fiery Tempest is a deciduous to semi-evergreen outdoor plant with mounds of pinnate, mid to dark green leaves with wiry stems topped with large, saucer-shaped flowers in shades of fiery crimson. In warmer areas, foliage can remain all year, whilst it will die away in colder areas. Flowers begin blooming from early spring and continue into summer.
