• Characteristics: Compact, low-growing deciduous shrub with small, rounded grey-green leaves and pink flowers appearing from late Spring.
• Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.1 – 0.5m.
• Period of Interest: Spring and Summer interest. Soft pink flowers with deep pink veins and centres from late Spring to Summer. Occasional second bloom in Summer.
• Water & Maintenance: Plant in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Keep in full or partial sun. Slightly acidic soils may give a richer flower colour.

A hardy, mat-forming variety with lovely flowers and Summer colouration, the Geranium Rothbury Gem is a very compact species of the usually wild and branching Geraniums, bearing small, grey-green leaves in neat clumps beneath the soft pink flowers with deep pink to magenta veins and centre eyes which appear from late Spring through to Summer, sometimes with repeat bloom in the Summer.

Plant in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, neutral to slightly acidic soils and keep in full or partial sunlight. A hardy and low maintenance plant. For best flowering remove the flowered stems to encourage fresh growth the following Spring.
