Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: A deciduous, vigorous, half-hardy, climbing fuchsia variety that shows-off masses of bi-coloured, pendant bell-like flowers in contrasting shades of dark-pink and purple-black.
Growth & Spread: Can reach an ultimate height of 2m and spread of 90cm.
Period of Interest: Bi-coloured dark pink and purple-black flowers July-October.
Water & Maintenance: During the growing season water regularly. Cut back to permanent framework in early spring or cut to the base in late autumn in frost-prone areas.
Fuchsia 'Lady in Black' is a deciduous, vigorous, half-hardy, shrub with ovate, toothed, dark green leaves. It is the very first black, double-flowered climbing fuchsia variety and it produces masses of delightful, pendant, bell-like, large flowers with upright, dark reddish-pink sepals and double, purple-black corollas. This spectacular, fast-growing Fuchsia can climb up to 2 metres in a season and can be trained up a frame or trellis. It also looks stunning grown in beds, borders and containers to add height and interest to your garden.
Plant in fertile, moist, well-drained soil and in full sun or partial shade. Water regularly and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser each month during the growing season. Pinch out the growing tips of young plants after the sixth or seventh pair of leaves to encourage continuous flowering. Cut back to permanent framework in early spring or cut to the base in late autumn in frost-prone areas.
