Rootgrow Empathy After Plant Evergreen Plant Food with Rootgrow 1kg Recommended for the feeding of all evergreen plants, in particular containerised topiary, rhododendrons, azaleas, bay trees and buxus.

Gently work a few handfuls into the soil at the first signs of growth in the spring and periodically thereafter. For containerised plants we recommend that once a year the top 5-10cm of soil is removed and replaced with fresh compost, along with a few good handfuls of After Plant Evergreen. Plants grown in containers, such as buxus, taxus and ilex crenata will benefit from a further feed later in the season.

In keeping with the Empathy philosophy of reducing chemical inputs, the product includes alfalfa, a vegetative form of plant available nitrogen as well as beneficial bacteria which helps fix nitrogen in the air, seaweed meal to help stimulate root growth and rootgrow mycorrhizal fungi as a boost to any existing mycorrhizal colonies.
