Characteristics: Evergreen perennial with spreading, fern-like foliage. The leaves are green with a slight bronze tint, and are joined by clusters of small, sky blue flowers that begin to appear in late Spring.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.3m.
Period of Interest: Flowers will bloom from April - October.
Care and Maintenance: Corydalis prefer to be placed in an area of light shade with moist, well-drained soil. Water when the soil is dry to touch, whilst lifting and dividing any congested clumps in Autumn.
Corydalis flexuosa Porcelain Blue is an evergreen perennial with green foliage that bears a slight bronze tint. The leaves are nicely complemented by bright, sky blue flowers that begin to bloom in late Spring. The plant has an impressively long flowering period, maintaining those gorgeous flowers right through to October. This makes it a great addition for any pots and containers, as well as being a great gap filler for any borders or flower beds.
