As we mentioned above, they are low maintenance and hardy, so once they have been established, you can sit back and enjoy them!

Most ferns, like Dryopteris affinis, prefer moist soil and love garden compost, but some types, like Polystichum polyblepharum, can survive in dry soil. Be sure to check the descriptions on the product listing to make sure they will thrive in your soil.
