• Care and Maintenance: Your Clematis will thrive in a position that benefits from access to full sun or partial shade. Plant in moist but well-drained soil composed of Chalk, Clay, Loam or Sand. No routine pruning necessary, however if needed for size and shape maintenance of the plant, cut it back immediately after flowering.
• Period of interest: Flowers from March to April; Foliage provides year-round interest

Clematis ‘Apple Blossom’ is an evergreen Clematis variety that releases clusters of fragrant white that emerge from deep pink buds from March to April. Its almond-scented blooms flaunt a pink blush across the creamy colouring, and their intense smell will be enhanced by a sunny location.

The lush green foliage will remain a year-round attraction, however if grown outside during the winter months it may need protection from the frosty winds.

Recognised for its noteworthy attributes, this Clematis variety is an RHS AGM Award winner. Excellent as a screening plant with its overlapping foliage, and a great source of freshly cut flowers.
