Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Tufted deciduous perennial grass with arching yellow linear leaves and cream flower spikes.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.2 – 0.5m.
Flourishing Season: Small cream flower spikes appearing in the Summer months.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in well-drained soil and maintain moisture. Grows in full or partial sun.
Carex ‘Maxigold’ is a fast-growing perennial sedge with variegated gold and green arching leaves that provide colour and ground cover all throughout the year. During the warmer seasons you’ll sometimes notice small, cream coloured flower spikes above the leaves giving them some additional interest during the Summer. This grass is highly tough and versatile and can be used for path edging, border and bed planting, or container planting all over the garden.
Plant in full or partial sun, in moist well-drained soil. Grows quite well in shaded areas but should be watered sparingly during the Winter to avoid freezing.
