Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Upright evergreen shrub with leathery green foliage and spikes of flower bristles.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 1 – 1.5m.
Flourishing Season: Flower bristles bloom from late Spring through to mid-Summer.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Grows best in full sun while sheltered from frosts and high winds.
Callistemon ‘Honeypot’, sometimes known as Australian Bottlebrush, is a beautiful and unusual shrub which is great for use as part of borders and beds. The lovely aromatic bright green leaves sit below slender, arching branches bearing clusters of long, thin flowers that look like spikes which are normally part of a tight cluster, giving them the appearance of a bristled brush.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full sun. Keep sheltered from Winter frosts and high winds. Tolerant of drier soils and coastal areas.
