Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Flourishing Season: Blooms in May - Oct, flowering seasons last long until mid-autumn
Characteristics: Purple-red flowers in clusters, silver-green foliage, attracts butterflies and bees, drought tolerant and hardy
Buddleia Davidii Royal Red is a compact deciduous shrub, popular for its long-lasting flowering periods. This plant is characterized by its amazing flowering branches that bear beautiful purple-red flowers in masses. Its arching branches carry dense grey-green foliage that helps in creating a striking floral exhibition.
Buddleia Royal Red are perfect hedging shrubs. They do not grow very tall but compact and dense. This growing habit makes them useful for decorating flower borders. When young, the plants need regular watering and protection from cold winds. But once established, Buddleia shrubs become hardy and drought tolerant.
They are easy to grow flowering shrubs that thrive well in full to partial sunlight. Plant them in a moist soil that is well-drained. Although there is not much that Buddleia bushes will demand, nurturing them with a feed of general purpose fertilizer annually will ensure healthy growth.
Buddleja flowers emit a sweet fragrance that attracts many species of butterflies, hence naming the plant as ‘Butterfly Bush’.
These flowering bushes are sure to turn a dull garden corner into a dazzling colourful hangout zone for butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and other pollinators.
Buddleja Royal Red plants will bloom profusely, starting from early summer and lasting until mid-autumn. These easy-to-grow shrubs look very attractive when planted near patio or pool-areas.
