Characteristics: Compact, deciduous shrub. This fruit plant bears green leaves that turn orange-red in Autumn. Elegant, white flowers bloom in Spring, then delicious, edible Blueberries grow in Summer.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of 1.5m and ultimate spread of 1m.
Period of Interest: Flowers in Spring and fruit will grow in Summer.
Water and Maintenance: Place the plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Moist, well-drained soil is preferred and water is required when the soil is dry to touch.
Our Vaccinium corymbosum is a compact, deciduous shrub. The plant will grow delicious Blueberries, as well as green leaves that turn orange-red in Autumn and gorgeous, white Spring flowers. Edible, small blue berries will begin to grow in Summer. These can easily be included in everyday meals, as well as a great addition to smoothies and other healthy snacks.
