Characteristics: Bushy, deciduous shrub. This fruit plant bears small, white flowers in Spring, with firm, edible Blueberries following this in early Summer. The green foliage will gradually turn orange-red from Spring - Autumn.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of 1.5m and ultimate spread of 1m.
Period of Interest: Flowers in Spring. Fruits will be ready to harvest in Summer.
Water and Maintenance: Place the plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Moist, well-drained, acidic soil is preferred and water is required when the soil is dry to touch.
Our Vaccinium corymbosum Duke is a deciduous shrub. This variety bears small, white flowers in Spring and its green leaves will eventually turn orange-red as Autumn approaches. The tasty, edible Blueberries that the plant is known for will be ready to harvest in early Summer. Although, the higher yields of fruit will be produced if planted alongside a pollination partner. The fruit can then be used and enjoyed within meals or on their own.
