Characteristics: Upright, deciduous shrub. Its fragrant, dark green foliage and clusters of white-pale green flowers add interest in late Spring. Tasty, edible Blackcurrants follow this when they fruit in late Summer.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of 1.5m and ultimate spread of 1m.
Period of Interest: Flowers in late Spring and fruit will be ready to harvest in late Summer.
Water and Maintenance: Place the plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Moist, well-drained soil is preferred and water is required when the soil is dry to touch.
Our Ribes nigrum Titania is an upright, deciduous shrub. Its dark green foliage bears a lovely fragrance from Spring into Summer. The plant will also produce white-pale green flowers in this time, before tasty, edible fruit begins to harvest in late Summer. Once fully grown and ripe, the Blackcurrants will bring a sweet and rich flavour to a variety of everyday meals.
They will grow to an ultimate height of 1.5m and ultimate spread of 1m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
