• Characteristics: Bushy deciduous shrub with mid-green foliage and deep pink buds appearing in Spring followed by pale pink flowers.
• Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 1.5 – 2m.
• Period of Interest: Clusters of funnel-shaped, pale pink flowers tinged with yellow appearing in late-Spring through to Summer.
• Plant Advice: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Tolerates full sun but grows best in partial shade with some shelter.

Azalea ‘Strawberry Ice’ is a species of rhododendron presenting lovely Spring colours with its eye-catching trusses of pale pink flowers which appear densely above the mid-green leaves in mid to late Spring. A great option for planting in flower beds or borders.

Plant in moist, well-drained soil and maintain adequate water supply in the Summer months under the full sun. Grows well in dappled shade with slightly acidic soil to bring out the best of the flower colours.
