Characteristics: Evergreen perennial with tri-coloured leaves. The foliage is a year-round feature, forming in a dense mound of attractive gold, bronze and green rosettes. Small, blue flowers will also show in Spring and Summer.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height of 0.2m and spread of 0.5cm.
Period of Interest: Flowers begin to appear in Spring, continuing into Summer.
Care and Maintenance: Place in an area of partial or full shade. Sunlight can scorch the leaves. Keep soil moist, well-drained and watered well, although the plant is tolerant to periods of drought.
Ajuga Fancy Finch is a prized member of the Ajuga genus, as its tri-coloured leaves make this evergreen perennial stand out.
