Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Bushy, semi-evergreen perennial with mid-green foliage and erect stems bearing large deep purple flowers.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height of 0.5 – 1m and spread of 0.1 – 0.5m.
Flourishing Season: Deep purple trumpet-shaped flowers blooming from near black buds in the Summer months.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained fertile soil. Grows best in full sun. Requires shelter and protection from Winter cold.
Agapanthus ‘Black Pantha’ also known as African Lily is sure to bring rich colour and interest to your garden with its beautiful Summer flowers. A semi-evergreen perennial with clump-forming habit and tall mid-green stalks which carry deep purple, almost black buds which bloom into large, funnel-shaped, deep purple flowers which will usually appear as a cluster atop the stems.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full sun for the best flower colours. Quite hardy but should be kept sheltered from high winds and harsh Winter frosts. Mulch well to help protect during the colder months. Works well as a container plant.
