Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Compact, clump-forming herbaceous perennial shrub with deeply lobed, mid-green leaves marked with purple in the centres. Clusters of small pink to white flowers from late Spring.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.1 – 0.5m.
Period of Interest: Spring to Autumn foliage interest. Conical spikes of small, pale pink bud opening to cream-white flowers from late Spring to early Summer.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Keep in partial Sun or full shade. Avoid waterlogged soil, especially during Winter.
Tiarella ‘Spring Symphony’, sometimes known as Foamflower, is a bright Spring perennial and a great choice for flower borders and groundcover. The large, deeply lobed or cut leave are mid-green with deep purple central colouration along the midribs. Stems bearing conical flowers spikes appear from Spring carrying small, pale pink buds which open into star-shaped cream-white blooms from late Spring through to Summer.
Plant in cool, moist, humus-rich, well-drained soils and keep in partial sun or full shade. Leaf colour dependent on exposure to sunlight. Keep soil cool through regular watering in warmer periods. Avoid waterlogging, especially during Winter. Requires a sheltered position and protection from cold and frost.
