Product description
Bright, blazing colours early in the flowering season. The Helenium 'Sahin's Early Flowerer' is a variety of Sneezeweed which start to bloom early in the Summer as per the name. This plant is an upright, herbaceous perennial with tall, rigid stems which hold daisy-like flowers with large, rounded brown centre disks covered in golden pollen and surrounded by slightly reflexed petals of vibrant orange-red when young. These petals shift to orange-yellow later in the long flowering period which lasts from early Summer right through to the Autumn. A wonderful addition to garden borders and a great pollinator.
Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full sun in any position. Avoid dry soils and water regularly for best quality and quantity of flowers. May require staking to support taller stems.

Top Tip
Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms and divide clumps every 2-3 years to maintain vigor and prevent overcrowding.
How to Water
Water regularly, especially during dry spells, to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely, as Helenium prefers moist conditions.
How to Plant
Plant Helenium in fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter in a location that gets full sun. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball, place the plant, and fill with soil. Space plants 45-60cm apart for airflow. Mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
