Product description
Thuja ‘Golden Tuffet’ sometimes known as White Cedar is a dwarf variety of the popular evergreen conifer which provides year-round colour and vibrance. The green-gold foliage gains a tinge of orange as it matures towards the Winter. A great option of compact plant for use as part of a small rockery display or bedding. Can be potted, requiring little maintenance due to its slow growth.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full or partial sun. Does not tolerate drought or exposed dry wind. Care must be taken to avoid overwatering which can cause root rot.

Instructions
Top Tip
Prune Thuja in early spring to maintain a tidy shape and encourage dense growth. Avoid cutting too much off the top, as this can damage the plant’s natural form.
How to Water
Water Thuja regularly, especially during dry spells, to keep the soil moist. Ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogging, which can cause root rot. Once established, Thuja is drought-tolerant but still benefits from occasional deep watering.
How to Plant
Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide and the same depth as the root ball. Place the plant, backfill with soil, and firm gently. Water thoroughly after planting. Space plants 90-150cm apart for privacy screens or hedges.
