• Characteristics: Stokesia MiniMel is a compact version of Mel's Blue. It is a deciduous perennial with narrow, dark green leaves and violet blue flowers, appearing in mass from early Summer.
• Growth and Spread: Will reach an ultimate height and spread of 0.5 metres.
• Period of Interest: The dark green foliage appears in spring, followed by violet blue flowers in Summer. The flowers die back in late autumn, then the foliage in winter.
• Plant Advice: Grows best in full sun or partial shade, in well drained, moist soil.

Stokesia Mini Mel is a compact variety of Mel's blue, that produces masses of small flowers. It is a deciduous perennial with narrow, ovate, dark green leaves and masses of violet blue flowers from early summer through to autumn. It fits perfect in beds and borders.

The perennial enjoys full sun or partial shade and moist, well drained soil.
