Product description
This six pack of Mimulus Magic bedding plants will produce masses of wonderful blooms for exceptional summer displays. Early-flowering they are frost resistant and very floriferous plants with a lavish mixture of highly exotic-looking, trumpet-shaped flowers in various shades. These moisture-loving bedding plants will add character and interest to the garden or even the pond side. With their good compact and spreading habits, they are also perfectly suited for containers or hanging baskets and will readily self seed, making them an ideal ground covering plant.
Plant in sun or partial shade. Likes boggy conditions, keep plants moist at all times to prolong the flowering period. Trim back plants after flowering and they will often give a second flush of blooms.
Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Top Tip
Deadhead spent flowers to encourage fresh blooms and prolong flowering. Mimulus thrive in damp, cool conditions and are ideal for shadier spots in the garden where many bedding plants may underperform.
How to Water
Mimulus prefer consistently moist conditions, especially in warmer weather. Water regularly to keep the soil from drying out, particularly in containers or sun-exposed areas. Avoid waterlogging by ensuring good drainage, especially in cooler periods.
How to Plant
Plant Mimulus bedding plants in moist, well-drained soil in a partially shaded or lightly sunny spot. These compact, floriferous plants are perfect for beds, containers, or planting near ponds, where their exotic, orchid-like blooms add vivid colour. Space plants 15–20cm apart for a full display.
