Product description
Alchemilla mollis, commonly known as Lady’s Mantle, is a charming perennial that provides excellent ground cover with its soft, scalloped green leaves. Delicate sprays of tiny yellow-green flowers appear from early summer to late summer, adding a subtle and airy quality to garden borders, pathways, and cottage garden settings.
Thriving in moist but well-drained soil, Alchemilla mollis grows well in full sun or partial shade, making it a versatile addition to any garden. It is easy to maintain and can tolerate drought once established. The flowers complement other summer blooms and are often used as filler plants in mixed beds and borders.
Perfect for naturalistic planting schemes, Alchemilla mollis is excellent for edging paths and containers. Its foliage catches raindrops, creating an attractive beaded effect. The flowers also make a lovely addition to floral arrangements, bringing a soft, natural look indoors.

Top Tip
Deadhead spent flowers to encourage fresh blooms and prevent self-seeding. If the foliage looks untidy, cut it back after flowering to promote fresh, lush growth.
How to Water
Alchemilla prefers consistently moist soil but can tolerate short dry spells. Water deeply when the top inch of soil feels dry, especially in hot weather. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot. In rainy climates, additional watering may not be needed.
How to Plant
Plant Alchemilla in moist, well-draining soil with partial to full sun. Space plants about 30cm apart. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant in, and cover with soil. Water well after planting. Mulch lightly to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
